Marketing management for The Song Company, Sydney, Australia

In 2006 I worked as an intern for The Song Company, Australia’s leading vocal ensemble, for several months as part of my marketing degree. In the middle of my internship the General Manager appointed me as Marketing Manager on a temporary basis until I had to return to Germany to complete my degree.

I was responsible for developing and delivering marketing, media relations and communications strategy and operational activity to achieve the marketing objectives of The Song Company.

Two years later, the Marketing Manager position at the Song Company became vacant again, and the General Manager offered it to me. I worked as a Marketing Manager for a few months until I had to return to Germany for personal reasons.

Key tasks included:

  • Development of a new branding
  • Creation of promotional material for concerts
  • Implementation of strategic relationships
  • Development and management of the marketing and communication budget
  • Editorial of the newsletter
